David Picton is a professional performer and educator, who has been performing and teaching drums, piano, and music composition to people of all ages in New York since 1980. David provides comprehensive piano lessons for all, and he has an extensive background in jazz, classical, and pop. Whether you are a beginner just starting to learn your instrument, someone who has a classical background and wants to learn how to play jazz and/or pop, or someone who has already been performing a while, David will guide you through the learning process and work with your needs and goals. Students with cognitive difficulties

David has taught children and adults with special needs for the past 17 years - both in classroom and privately. Music is a wonderful vehicle to open up their creativity and individualism. Payments, Cancellations and make up lesson policy 


 A preliminary 20 minute consultation lesson is offered FREE.

Lessons are generally once a week, and paid weekly. We accept local checks for students within New York City and its boroughs.

For others living outside of the 5 boroughs, we accept payments using PayPal or Google Wallet
Google Wallet is a fast, free way to send money by using just our email address or phone number.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel and not be charged for your lesson, please notify us at least 24 hours before the lesson. Please do not cancel more than 1 lesson per month.
